REG Wedding Films

The Experience

From first email to final film.

Process

What working with the studio looks like.

01

Inquire

Send your date, venue, and a few words about what you're picturing. I respond within 24–48 hours with availability and base collections.

02

Plan

Once booked, we'll schedule a creative planning call to walk through timeline, must-have moments, and how to make space for the film without it taking over your day.

03

Film

Full-day coverage with professional audio for vows and speeches, drone footage where it adds something, and a small footprint that stays out of your photographer's way.

04

Edit

Every film is edited in-house. I pick the music, color, and pacing that fit your day — not a template.

05

Deliver

Your film arrives in a private online gallery 4–6 weeks after the wedding. Stream it, download it, share it with anyone who wasn't there.

Investment

What's included.

Every collection is built around a base of full-day coverage, professional audio, and a cinematic highlight film.

Add-ons — extra hours, a longer feature film, raw ceremony, second-day brunch, USB heirloom drive — are à la carte so you only pay for what fits your day. Pricing is custom to each wedding and shared on request.

Travel within 60 miles of Muscle Shoals is included. Destinations beyond that are quoted up front, no surprises.

FAQ

Frequently asked.

How much does a wedding film cost?

Every REG wedding film is quoted custom, because no two days need the same coverage. The quote is built from three things: how many hours I'm filming, how many locations your day moves through, and which add-ons you want — a longer feature film, a raw ceremony cut, a USB heirloom drive, extras like that. Every collection starts from the same base: full-day coverage, professional wireless audio for your vows and toasts, a cinematic highlight film, and delivery in four to six weeks. Send the inquiry with your date and venue and I'll reply within 24–48 hours with complete collection pricing for your specific day. There's no obligation attached to asking, and most couples reach out 6–12 months before the wedding, so asking early costs you nothing and holds your options open.

What makes REG Wedding Films different from other videographers?

The person you book is the person who shows up. I film every wedding personally and edit every film in-house, so the one shaping your film is the one who actually watched your day happen — the same person who answered your first email is standing beside you during the vows and choosing the song for your edit weeks later. Before weddings, I spent three years filming Alabama football at the University of Alabama: practices, game days, moments that happen exactly once with a hundred thousand people watching. That training is why I can catch the look on your dad's face in the half-second it exists. And because I keep my calendar deliberately small, your film gets real time in the edit instead of a slot on an assembly line.

Where are you based, and do you travel for weddings?

I'm based in Muscle Shoals, AL, and travel within 60 miles is always included — that covers Muscle Shoals, Florence, Sheffield, Tuscumbia, Killen, Athens, Decatur, Hartselle, Cullman, Lawrenceburg TN, and Iuka MS with no travel line on your quote at all. Beyond the radius, I regularly film across the wider region: Huntsville, Birmingham, Tuscaloosa, Nashville, Franklin, Memphis, and Chattanooga are all normal drives from the Shoals, and destination weddings farther out are welcome too. For anything past 60 miles, travel appears as one simple line on your collection, quoted up front before you commit to anything. No mileage math, no surprise fees after booking — you'll know the whole number before you sign.

How far in advance should we book you?

Most couples book 6–12 months before their date, and peak-season weekends — April through June, September through November — go earliest. I take a limited number of weddings each year on purpose, so every film gets my full attention in the edit; the honest tradeoff is that when a date is claimed, it's claimed, and I can't add a second wedding on top of it. If your date is closer than six months out, still reach out — cancellations happen and off-peak dates stay open longer than couples expect. The booking itself is simple: we talk, you sign the contract and pay a 20% deposit, and your date is locked. Payment plans through HoneyBook let most couples split the rest into monthly installments.

What does the base collection include?

Full-day coverage, professional wireless audio for vows and toasts, a cinematic highlight film, and 4–6 week delivery in a private streaming gallery. Drone is included where it adds something. Add-ons (longer feature film, raw ceremony cut, USB heirloom drive, second-day brunch) are à la carte.

How much is the deposit, and when is payment due?

A 20% non-refundable deposit secures your date. The remaining balance is due 30 days before the wedding. Payment plans are available through HoneyBook — most couples split the balance into monthly installments.

Can we create a custom collection?

Yes. The base + add-on structure exists so you can build a film that fits your day, not someone else's template. If you have something specific in mind, tell me on the inquiry — we'll build around it.

How do you capture audio during vows and speeches?

Wireless lavalier microphones on the officiant and groom, plus backup recorders at the ceremony and the head table. Vows and toasts come through clean, even outdoors in wind.

How long until we get our wedding film?

Most films deliver in four to six weeks, and peak season (spring and fall) can push toward the longer end of that window. The timeline is honest about what happens in it: I edit every film myself, in-house, which means going through the whole day's footage, syncing the vow and toast audio, choosing music that fits how your day actually felt, and color grading every scene — none of it is handed to a stranger or dropped into a template. When it's ready, your film arrives in a private online gallery where you can stream it, download the full-resolution files, and share the link with everyone who wasn't there. The gallery is yours to keep, and a USB heirloom drive is available as an add-on if you want a physical copy in a drawer somewhere safe.

Will you work alongside our photographer?

Always. Photo and video have to share the same air, and I keep my footprint light so we're never fighting for the same frame. I make sure your photographer gets their shot first.

How would you describe your style?

Cinematic, emotional, timeless. Natural light, real moments, and a pace that feels like the day did — not a music-video edit, not a corporate recap.

How will our film be delivered?

Digitally, in a private online gallery with high-resolution downloads. Custom USB heirloom drives are available as an add-on for couples who want a physical copy.

How do we officially book you?

Send the inquiry, we'll talk dates and collections, and once you sign the contract and pay the 20% deposit, your date is locked. Then we schedule a planning call to walk through timeline and must-have moments.

Do you film destination weddings?

Yes. I take weddings across Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi, Georgia, Florida, and South Carolina, and farther on request. Inside 60 miles of Muscle Shoals travel is included; past that I quote the real cost of the drive or flight, plus a room the night before when the morning starts early, and you see that number before you book. For anything over about three hours out I arrive the day before, because a wedding morning that starts with me rested makes a better film. Everything else stays the same: I shoot your day, I edit your film, and it lands in 4–6 weeks. There is a full breakdown on the destination weddings page.

Do you film elopements and engagement sessions?

Yes — both available as standalone films or paired with a full wedding collection. Elopement and engagement films are shorter, lower investment, and a great way to see how I work before the wedding day.
