A June wedding in Florence, Alabama. Micah and Sam Schmitz said their vows at St. Michael's Catholic Church, then celebrated with family and friends at Dan Clay Farms as the day stretched into a warm summer evening.
A church ceremony and a farm reception make for two completely different films in one day — the quiet of a sanctuary, then golden hour over open ground — and this wedding gave me both. Melanie Shockley Events kept the whole day moving so smoothly that I could stay focused on catching moments instead of chasing a timeline, and HB Photography and I traded angles all evening without ever getting in each other's frame.
When I picked the song for their edit, I had no idea it was already special to the two of them. Micah told me afterward the film "literally looks like a movie." That text is the reason I do this.
“AHHH WE ARE OBSESSED!!!! idk if you know this but that song is a special song for us so 10/10 on song choice!!! it literally looks like a movie we couldn't be more in love with how it turned out. thank you for everything, we are so glad to have had such an amazing videographer for our special day!”
